How we can help

The Prince’s Initiative exists to provide you with the competencies, confidence and courage to go on to set up your own business. If you want to become self-employed the best way to start your own business is to plan for it, and that is exactly what we can help you to do.

We have helped entrepreneurs all over the UK to set up their own businesses, through offering them online support, training at our courses, one to one advice from mentoring and the opportunity to talk about their small business ideas at our networking events.

Tim Hulse, who has gone on to set up EcoVert Solutions attended our “Preparing to Run Your Own Business” course in St Helens, says:

“The Prince’s Initiative are great in helping people over 50 realise that they have the skills and resources to set up their own business. The training on the course was great and really pushed us to be self-directed. I’m still in touch with my course group which is really great for support and advice; and I was also offered free mentorship and great networking opportunities.”

To gain more information and to attend our courses please Register.  But in the meantime, have a look at the services we offer to see which would be most useful to you on your journey to self-employment.

A work in progress, but by late 2012 we hope to offer you an Alumni service so that we can stay in touch and keep up to date with how your business is doing. We also hope that our Alumni service will offer you a great opportunity to network and share best practice with fellow entrepreneurs.
